I write about science, health, food, and the companies and people working to introduce technology into those areas of our daily lives. My work includes content – from blog posts to case studies to e-books – for clients in the Tech sector. I’ve also authored several books about the application of technology and STEM for adults and children – including one about the design of ocean and spacecraft.
Most recently, I’ve written about SciTech for Bitter SciTech, Food Tech for The Food Rush, and BioTech and Health-Tech for BioBuzz, SynBioBeta, and BioSpace.
As we begin this 21st century, we are in a time of rapid innovation and technological growth. It’s exciting to write about these complex concepts in an accessible yet accurate narrative. I have the best job for a curious person with a love of words!
I have an MBA from the University of Connecticut and a BA in English Lit from SUNY Plattsburgh. I’ve studied science writing at Johns Hopkins University, as well as at seminars around the country. I teach narrative writing at The Writer’s Center in Bethesda, MD. I’m a member of the National Association of Science Writers and the American Society of Journalists and Authors.
