I get it that we are at Trump’s 100th day. I get it that there is much cause for concern. But, really. How is it possible that a worldwide march for science is getting less play than Trump? THIS is a time for the press to cover something that must be addressed. Whatever Trump has tweeted lately is going to be supplanted in importance by the next thing he tweets. Come on, media. Get your priorities in order!
The March for Science has been scheduled for Saturday, April 22 in Washington, D.C. A growing constellation of marches are also scheduled for that day in cities across the U.S. What began as a Reddit conversation has grown into a movement of scientists and science lovers standing up for evidenced-based policy making and inclusivity in the science community.
