Baby Bloomer

“The time has come,” the Walrus said,
“To talk of many things:
Of shoes–and ships–and sealing-wax–
Of cabbages–and kings–
And why the sea is boiling hot–
And whether pigs have wings.”

My aspirations are not nearly so noble. I just want to talk about HYDROPONIC GARDENING. I have tried to grow lettuce for years. Each time I get everything settled and good to go, we have a deluge rain that literally drowns things before they begin. THIS year, I’m taking nature into my own hands. I’m going hydroponic.

I thought it would be interesting to see just how things go wrong this time. To keep you posted (no pun intended), I’ll give an update-with-photo each week. (Kids, this is something you can try at home.) I am going the “give me everything I need” route, but I’ll include posts that tell you how to do it yourself.

baby-bloomer-lgMy first step is to admit I need all the help I can get. I’m purchasing the Baby Bloomer Hydroponic System from PlanetNatural. The featured image for these posts will be the Baby Bloomer.

Hope to see you on the way to one delicious salad!
